I found it very interesting to see the progression from a restrained movement at the beginning to the instant where everything falls into place and the movement of the head and the pelvis become coordinated!

What will your experience of Feldenkrais be like?
People understand that mdinful movement and the Feldenkrais Method are different from regular fitness and exercise, and once they notice an increase in mobility, or a reduction in pain, or a new found ability, or when they have their first ‚Aha!‘ experience as they feel something in their body that they never felt before, they are convinced that doing Feldenkrais can bring about profound changes in areas of their lives that they didn’t think could be changed.
That is what makes my job so fulfilling.

People often come to Feldenkrais to improve physical problems (like back pain), or functional movements (such as walking, sitting, typing). Every person has their own reason to come.
Feldenkrais works on multiple levels: movement, thought, and emotion, which can all find a different balance after a few courses. Every person has their own unique outcome.
It makes sense that the improvement of the body also leads to the improvement of the mind, and vice versa. We use the word „holistic“.

When is Feldenkrais not for you.

Feldenkrais is not a talk therapy, but it can support your holistic well-being.
Feldenkrais is not a medical activity, but it supports your health. If you have a medical condition, first see your doctor for advice.
Deep seated changes require you to be an engaged and active participant in your health. If this is not where you are currently at, it may not yet be the right time to do Feldenkrais. If you are unsure, do 3 to 5 sessions, then decide.
