Diverting the negative effects of the current situation on one´s mental health by reconnecting to the physical (aka your body) by walking, running, dancing, doing gym, any sport, and also the Feldenkrais Method, is key to anyone´s self-care strategies.
One of the difficulties of the Covid year has been that people have stopped going out and stopped moving. It is vitally important for human health, and for mental health, to move constantly and regularly throughout one´s life. The first step is often the hardest, but once it has been taken, it is usually easier to continue and increase one´s levels of activity.
